An Aadhaar Card is a smart card containing an individual’s personal information, used as a proof of identity and address. Due to unfortunate situations, you may have suffered from consequences due to the loss of Indian Aadhar Card. Being an Indian, you are already aware of the importance of this card.

The government uses it as a universal card for many of its schemes which are for public welfare in India. A person does not have to apply for any other separate card for different government services. The card has a unique number that every Indian citizen must possess and is used as a universal identification number.

The card is both a proof of age as well as a proof of address. Also, the card can be used to avail of government subsidies such as that for the LPG cylinder. You can do the same by following its website.

There are government schemes where the Aadhaar card is linked to a bank account, and the subsidy is credited directly into the account. Thus, there is no chance of any misappropriation of the funds. The government can also monitor the country’s population with the help of the Aadhaar Card.
